1A leader changes in RI baseball poll

There is a new top-ranked team in the latest Radio Iowa/Baseball CoachesAssociation high school poll. At 16-2 on the season, Iowa Valley of Marengomoves into the top spot in class 1A. Previously top ranked Lisbon lost toWinfield-Mount Union over the weekend and drops to second. Lenox climbs sixspots to third. Granville Spalding and Nora Springs Rock Falls complete thetop five. Algona Garrigan remains top ranked in 2A, Iowa falls is second.Osage is third, Council Bluffs St. Albert fourth and Center Point Urbanaclimbs five spots to fifth. Davenport Assumption remains top ranked in 3A.followed by Knoxville, Perry, Vinton-Shellsburg and New Hampton. SiouxCity North is top ranked in 4A for the second straigth week. Marshalltownis second then its West Des Moines Valley. Iowa City High and Sioux CityEast.
