Big 12 enjoying women’s b-ball success

For the second straight year more than 600-thousand fans turned out to seeBig-12 womens basketball and the league saw an increase of about 80-thousandthis past season. Associate Commissioner of the Big-12 Drew Hancock saysthere are many reasons for the success of womens basketball.Hancock says with last year’s success, the league has big plans for nextseason.Hancock says the future of the womens’ basketball tournament in Kansas Cityis uncertain, just like the mens’.Texas Tech led the Big-12 in attendance by averaging more than eightthousand a game.
