EAI cuts game division

Software manufacturer Engineering Animation Incorporated (EAI) of Ames is cutting its interactive games division. Company C-E-O Matt Rizai talked about the cuts today on a conference call with reporters.Rizai says the company has decided computer games don’t fit into its futureplans.Rizai says the games business has seen intense competition and consolidation.He says since June 16th the company has lost three game contracts worth anestimated two-point-six million dollars.
