It may look like an ordinary obstacle course that’ll be dedicated in SiouxCity today, but those who built it say it’s going to be a place for characterbuilding. It’s called the “Low Ropes Confidence Course”.Iowa National Guard Colonel Robert King says the course was built by theGuard and the Sioux City Police Department for use by local teens. King saysit’ll be used to build traits in young people like leadership, self-esteemand team spirit, while focusing on keeping kids away from drugs.King says trained professionals will be guiding groups of young peoplethrough the Low Ropes course — which features a variety of obstacles toovercome.The course will be dedicated at 10:30 this morning at the facility near theSioux City Airport and the 185th Fighter Wing of the Air National Guard.
