Kenyon native Eli Rand won the annual “Midnite Madness” 10-K road race inAmes this weekend. Rand set a record finishing in 27 minutes and 19 seconds.Bonnie Sond , a former Iowa State University athlete, wonthe woman’s race. Sond says the conditions were ideal.Iowa State cross country runner Matt Williams won the men’s 5-K and SummerJohnson of Indianola won the women’s 5-K.
