Dole says administration is failing farmers

The Clinton Administration is failing American farmers, according torepublican presidential candidate Elizabeth Dole. The former Red Crosspresident is continuing her latest campaign swing through Iowa, speakinglast night in Mason City. Dole says if elected she’d implement a ten-pointprogram designed to bring relief to farmers.Dole says farmers need tax breaks — and she’d like to see the eliminationof death taxes on family farms & family businesses.Dole says she supports so-called “fast track” trade authority for thepresident, which has been stalled in Congress.Dole also wants China to become a member of the World Trade Organization.
