Clear Lake looks for another tourney appearance

Second ranked Clear Lake looks for its third straight appearance in theClass 2A state tournament as they enter district play tonight. The Lions takeon Garner Hayfield at home. Coach Troy Heller says they are led by pitcherKristen Keefe.Heller says a tougher regular season schedule has the team playing better.He says getting back to the state tournament will not be easy as he believesthey’re in the toughest region of the state.Clear Lake finished the regular season at 35-7.
