High temperatures are expected in theupper 90s with high humidity pushing heat indices into triple digits.MidAmerican Energy spokesman Kevin Waetke says electricity demands ARE beingmet.Waetke recommends customers NOT wait for a peak alert to be issued beforethey start trying to conserve energy at home.He says for every degree the thermostat is raised, between two and threepercent can be cut from the power bill.
