Grinnell pitcher notches 100th win

Grinnell’s Allison Pirkl is the latest high school softball pitcher to reachthe century mark in career victories. Prikl reached 100-victories last nightin the Tigers’ 4-0 victory over Williamsburg in a district championshipgame.Pirkl says no pitcher can win 100 games without being part of a good team.Pirkl says as they head to the regional the Tigers are gunning for a spot inthe state tournament.Grinnell draws a first round bye in the regional and will open on Saturdaynight.
