Race track casinos increase take

The state’s three race track/casinos took in over 281-million dollars in thelast fiscal year. The money taken in by the tracks for the fiscal year that ended June 30th isan increase of nearly 22-million dollars over the previous fiscal year. ThePrairie Meadows horse track/casino in Altoona took in the largest chunk at139-million dollars. That’s a nearly 12-million dollar increase over lastyear. The Bluffs run dog track in Council Bluffs increased its gross revenueby over five million dollars to 110-point-four million dollars. The Dubuquegreyhound track took in four-point-four million dollars more this fiscalyear for a total of nearly 32-million dollars.
