Iowa bike race to honor Tour de France winner

Riding RAGBRAI across Iowa is a lot different than riding in the Tour deFrance cycling race, but the two do have something in common. The U-S Postalservice sponsors the team of Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong and isalso a sponsor of the Iowa ride. Postal Service spokesman Rich Watkins saysthey plan on creating a special greeting to Armstrong during this week’sRAGBRAI.Watkins says bicyclers across Iowa can understand how tough it was forArmstrong to come back from cancer to win in France.He says many postal workers will ride RAGBRAI.The ride across Iowa started in Rock Rapids Sunday and ends in BellvueSaturday.
