Golf coach leaves ISU

Iowa State men’s golf coach Jamie Bermel is leaving to take the same job atColorado State University. Bermel says Colorado State has some good thingsto offer.Bermel has been at I-S-U for two years after five years at Drake Universityin Des Moines. He feels he’s leaving the Cyclone program in good shape.Assistant coach Jay Horton has been named the interim coach for the1999-2000 season.
