Senate leader calls for end to trade embargoes

The republican leader in the Iowa Senate today called for a full review ofthe U.S. grain embargoes now enforced around the globe. Senate RepublicanLeader Stewart Iverson of Dows held a news conference at the statehouse thisafternoon.Iverson says American farmers cannot sell their grain to 40 percent of theworld’s population because of the U.S. trade embargoes now in place.Iverson is a farmer from Dows.
