Grants help pork producers

Over four-hundred Iowa farmers can obtain a free financial analysis of theiroperation, courtesy of a U-S-D-A grant and the Iowa Pork Producers. Inaddition, an on-site inspection from financial advisors is available, at areduced price. James Mc-Kean is interim director of Iowa State University’sIowa Pork Industry Center which coordinates the “FIN-PACK” program.The financial analysis isn’t limited to pork producers, but hog operationsare its first target.
