Schools still looking for teachers to start school year

School will be starting in just a few weeks and many Iowa school systems arescrambling to find teachers for all of their courses. Northeast HamiltonSchools superintendant Chuck Coblentz (COE-blens) in Blairsburg says he’scontinuing to search for qualified applicants and isn’t having much luck.Coblentz says he’s desperately trying to fill several slots in his districtnear Webster City in north central Iowa.Coblenz says teachers of math and vocal music are at a premium, but they’renot the only ones being saught.Classes start in many Iowa school districts two weeks from today.
