ISU gets donation for virtual reality center

Iowa State University’s College of Engineering is getting 100-thousanddollars from Procter and Gamble Corporation for a new “virtual reality”application center, where computer-generated images appear to come alive.I-S-U Engineering Dean Jim Melsa says the new virtual reality room will keepthe University on the cutting edge.The new virtual reality room will be located at the center of a four storyopen atrium in Howe Hall, a new engineering building under construction atIowa State.
