VIlsack wants to use Missouri parenting program

Governor Vilsack wants the state of Iowa to mimic a parenting program that’shaving success, statewide, in Missouri. Vilsack says new parents inMissouri sign up for help if they want it.Vilsack says the program starts in the hospital, right after the birth of ababy.Vilsack says a few, isolated Iowa communities have started parentingprograms, but he wants to see volunteer parenting help available in everyIowa town and city.Vilsack says one of his goals as Governor is to encourage every Iowa parentto be their child’s first and best teacher.
