Posters help identify meth labs

Would you know how to identify the ingredients of a methamphetamine lab ifyou saw them? The Narcotics Enforcement Division of the Iowa Department ofPublic Safety is distributing a poster to help you know if a lab may be inyour area. Abuse prevention coordinator Bruce Upchurch says it’s importantto find the labs.He says you can be a big help in ending the meth epidemic as a majority ofthe over 300 labs seized by police were turned in by the public. Upchurchsays the posters give you a good idea of what to look for.Upchurch says they’re trying to get the posters out to as many people aspossible.Upchurch says the posters are free and available by calling the Governor’sAlliance on Substance Abuse.
