Recruiters seek ways to get employees

About one-hundred-50 job recruiters from across the state are meeting todayin Des Moines to talk about finding workers in the tight market. The eventis put on by the Iowa Human Resource Recruitment Consortium. Kay Snyder, anemployee of the Consortium, has helped organize the meeting, which featuresexperts in the “human resources” field.Another speaker will focus on how to market companies to prospectiveemployees and one presenter will discuss how to communicate with workers.The Iowa Human Resource Recruitment Consortium is a partnership betweenIowa colleges and universities, state government, cities and large employerslike Pioneer and Pella Corporation.
