ISU volleyball team ready to leave past behind

The Iowa State University volleyball program is turning over a new leaf thisseason in hopes of forgetting its troubled past. Linda Grensing is theprogram’s 3rd coach in 3 seasons. Junior middle blocker Stacy Nicks ofSpencer is looking forward to the season ahead.Nicks and sophomore Nannette Allen are the only players who’ve been througheach coaching change. Nicks says they’ve grown to adapt to each newattitude.Senior outside hitter Sheila Lopez transferred to I-S-U last year fromDuquense and is looking to have a great final season.The Cyclones open their season next month in Las Vegas.
