Human jawbone found in Crawford County

Crawford County Sheriff Tom Hogan says state officials are now handling theinvestigation of a human jaw bone found Tuesday on the banks of the Boyerriver. A man in a canoe discovered the jawbone south of Denison. Hogansays state officials are trying to see if the bone could belong to any ofthe people on the state’s missing persons list. Hogan says there isn’t anyone missing in Crawford County who could be linkedto the jaw bone. Hogan says his office can’t do anything more until highwater conditions on the Boyer River improve.
