Hehopes to get to the bottom of it with Danforth leading the way.A video seized by the U-S Marshal’s office shows the F-B-I authorized theuse of incendiary devices after denying they had done so. Harkin wondersabout the FBI’s communication with their boss, Janet Reno.Some are calling for the resignation of Reno, but Harkin says it’s not herfault. He says the head of the FBI is the one to look at. He says partisianpoliticians are the ones calling for Reno’s resignation. However, Iowa Senator Charles Grassley, a Republican, says Congress needs toknow if they were lied to. He questions Reno’s control of the FBI and thinksthe agency is operating as a government unto itself. The 1993 seige leftmore than 80 people dead when the Davidian compound burned to the ground.
