October 8, 1999 By admin

Television sportscaster Robin Roberts is the keynote speaker as Iowa State University’s “Women’s Week” begins tonight. Roberts is a reporter, anchor and does play-by-play for the ABC and ESPN sports networks. I-S-U Women’s Center spokesperson Pam Thomas says Roberts’ talk tonight will focus on being a woman in a male-dominated field. Ernestine Bradley, the wife of democrat presidential candidate Bill Bradley, will speak Friday at noon at the I-S-U Memorial Union. Mrs. Bradley is a professor at Montclair State University. Later this month, former astronaut Mae Jamison will speak.
