November 9, 1999 By admin

Officials at the Iowa Department of Natural Resources are putting out a weather advisory — make use of the warm weather.D-N-R spokesman Kevin Arrowsmith says Iowa owns and manages about 80 state parks. With the unseasonably mild weather, he says those parks are perfect for fishing, camping, hiking, picnicking and other outdoor activities.State parks are open year-round for use by campers with off-season rates in effect. Arrowsmith says state park users may find one inconvenience as the modern restroom and show facilities have been closed for the winter.
