Cedar Rapids woman wants to win a million

November 19, 1999 By admin

Who wants to be a millionaire? A Cedar Rapids woman has a chance to be a contestant on the big game show. Mary Webb has correctly answered the preliminary round questions for A-B-C’s “Who wants to be a millionaire?”. If she gets the semi-final round questions right tonight, she gets an all-expense paid trip to New York and a chance to win the million bucks. Webb says she hasn’t thought about what she’d do if she wins. She says her goal is to simply qualify and get the trip to New York. Webb will be one of 35 people competing by phone line for the chance to be on the final show on Sunday.
