Manchester business destroyed by fire

A fire that broke out early Sunday morning destroyed a business just outside of Manchester, near the intersection of Highways 20 and 13. Fire departments from seven area towns battled the blaze.Manchester Fire Chief Jack Clouse says the fire started in an apartment in the building.Fire fighters arrived on the scene shortly before three a-m Sunday and thought they had it licked after eight hours. But the fire re-kindled Sunday afternoon & Monday morning, pulling crews back to the site to make sure the blaze was completely out. The State Fire Marshall will survey the site today.
