Wife shot, husband found dead in Cedar Rapids dispute

November 23, 1999 By admin

A domestic dispute in Cedar Rapids sent a woman to the hospital last night with a gunshot wound to the head — and her husband was later found dead outside their apartment building. Police responded to a 9-1-1 call at about 11 o’clock last night. Officers say 26-year-old Jason Juenger let them into the apartment and then went down the hall and shot his wife25-year-old Richelle Juenger. Jason Juenger fled after the shooting. His body was found later near the appartment. Richelle Juenger has asked that her condition not be released.
