Wartburg and Central open football playoffs

Wartburg and Central look to advance in the division-three national football playoffs tomorrow. Wartburg is at home against Pacific Lutheran. Wartburg coach Rick Willis says a concern about Pacific Lutheran is their speed.Wartburg has used a balance offense to post impressive numbers this season and Willis says because of that they would prefer good weather conditions.Willis says at this point of the post season mistakes and turnovers become even more costly.Central College visits St.Johns of Minnesota. The game matches two of the most celebrated small-college programs in the country. Central coach Rich Kacmarynskisays St.Johns runs a balanced offense.Playing in Collegeville, Minnesota at this time of year means the weather can be a factor but Kacmarynski says his team will need to adjust.
