UNI loses player, reason unknown

December 15, 1999 By admin

The Northern Iowa basketball team may be without freshman guard Boo Miller for the remainder of the season. The Overland Park native was not in uniform for the Panthers overtime victory against Bowling Green on Saturday. Miller had played in seven games for U-N-I and averaged just over two points per contest.U-N-I coach Sam Weaver says it is likely Miller has left the squad for good, although he says he hasn’t had a final conversation with him yet.
