Oelwein band traveling to the Orange Bowl

A batch of young musicians from eastern Iowa will be spending part of the upcoming holidays in the warmth of the southern U-S. The Oelwein High School Marching Band will march in the Orange Bowl Parade in Miami, Florida, on New Year’s Eve. Oelwein is believed to be the smallest school district to march in the nationally-televised event.
