January 3, 2000 By admin

All of that snow that melted off in last week’s heat wave will soon be replaced. Craig Cogil is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in Johnston. He says the storm system will move rapidly across Iowa today, dropping snow as it goes.Cogil says central Iowa could get a couple of inches of snow but eastern Iowa is expected to get much more.He says the snow may not stick around all that long as things are expected to warm up again next week.A winter weather advisory has been issued for east-central & southeast Iowa through tonight.
