UNI grapplers crack top ten in rankings

For the first time in seven years, the University of Northern Iowa wrestling team is ranked in the nation’s top 10. The Panthers are rated 10th this week in Intermat’s poll. Seven U-N-I wrestlers are ranked in the top 20. Northern Iowa coach Mark Manning says his team is starting to wrestle with confidence.The Panthers finished second at last weekend’s Virginia Duals, defeating Michigan, Pittsburg and Virginia before losing to number seven Edinboro in the final.
