The Drake Bulldogs used a 12-2 run to end the first half to take command enroute to a 69-46 rout of Illinois State in Missouri Valley Conference play Monday night. Junior forward Aaron Thomas snapped out of a shooting slump by finishing with a season high 11-points, including two of three from three point range.Thomas says it was a great victory for the Bulldogs, especially considering Illinois State had won the previous eight meetings.Drake led by two mid-way through the opening half and Thomas feels full court pressure defense helped them take command.
