January 20, 2000 By admin

Wednesday’s blizzard is blamed in at least three traffic deaths statewide. A high school freshman was killed in a car accident in Cedar Rapids, while another person was killed in a wreck near Blue Grass in Muscatine County. 69-year-old Wayne Hacksmeyer, of Bellevue, was killed when his car collided with another vehicle driven by a Colorado man in Jackson County near the town of Andrew. The wreck occurred during the heavy snow yesterday afternoon.
