Drake tries to rebound from loss

January 24, 2000 By admin

Drake returns to action Wednesday at Southern Illinois in Missouri Valley Conference action. The Bulldogs are coming off their third consecutive close loss on the road after a 67-62 loss at Indiana State on Saturday. Drake missed some late opportunities and had the ball three times trialing by one point in the final two minutes but failed to convert. Matt Woodley tied his season high with 19-points. Drake is now 9-7 overall.
