Grassley urges all parties to turn out for caucuses

Some political analysts predict supporters of front-runners George W-Bush and Al Gore will NOT go to Iowa’s caucuses tonight, thinking their candidates have the win sewn up. Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley says he hopes that doesn’t happen.Grassley hopes all Iowans of voting age make a concerted effort to take part in tonight’s event.Some fear agricultural issues will vanish from the political forefront once the caucuses are over, but Grassley says that isn’t the case.He says the candidates won’t soon forget their experiences in Iowa.
