Governor creates industry technology advisory team

Governor Vilsack has asked the leaders of three prominent Iowa companies to head a state “industry technology advisory team.” Iowa Department of Economic Development administrator Bob Henningsen is involved in the project.Henningsen says the state invests dollars in technology initiatives at the three state universities, as well as through state agency programs.Clay Jones — president of Rockwell Collins; Chuck Johnson — executive vice president of DuPont/Pioneer; and Carl Williams — senior vice president of the Principal Financial Group will serve as top advisors.The technology initiative was outlined last night at the Iowa Business Council’s meeting.
