Another lead in Huisentruit case dries up

Another lead in the disappearance of Mason City T-V anchorwoman Jodi Huisentruit has turned into a dead end. Mason City police questioned Donald Blom, a convicted Minnesota sex offender, in the case. Police Captain Mike Halverson says that interview has cleared Blom as a viable suspect.Blom is currently awaiting trial on charges he kidnapped and killed a Minnesota woman. Halverson says Blom was getting medical treatment in Minnesota the day Huisentruit disappeared.Huisentruit disappeared in June of 1995 as she was getting ready to go into work.
