UNI downs the Salukis

Northern Iowa snapped Southern Illinois’ three-game winning streak with a 72-58 win in the UNI-Dome. The Panthers cashed in at the free throw line by making 26-of-31 free throws..That’s Panther coach Sam Weaver who says defense was the key. The Salukis hit only 35-percent for the game.Robbie Sieverding led the Panthers with 20-points as U-N-I won the game without making a three point shot.
