February 11, 2000 By admin

The Grinnell College men’s basketball team had a week that included extremes on both ends of the score. Grinnell scored only 55 points in losing Saturday to Ripon. The Pioneers then more than doubled their output in beating Monmouth 150-145 on Wednesday. Grinnell Coach Dave Arseneault gives his team credit for bouncing back. He says his teams have always been resilient.Arseneault says it was an important win for his team as they finish the season.Lake Forest is the opponent in two of Grinnell’s three final games, in cluding tomorrows contest in the final home game of the season. The 150 points scored by Grinnell College is believed to be the most scored at any level in college basketball this year.
