Maytag sees stock drop on earnings news

February 15, 2000 By admin

The stock of Newton-based appliance maker Maytag dropped eleven percent Monday on bad earnings news. Ward did say the company has signed a deal with Sanyo of Japan to make appliances for countries in the Pacific rim.
