A four-mile-long trail which begins in the city of Elkhart is undergoing major improvements. A 20-thousand dollar grant was awarded this week to the Clayton County Conservation Board. Board director Tim Engelhardt says the “Pony Hollow Trail” is in pretty rough shape.The money will be used to re-surface the trail.Engelhardt says the trail connects with Elkader’s River Walk system and then winds through bluffs north of town.
