Drake ends home season looking for win

The Drake Bulldogs close out their home season tonight when they host Southwest Missouri State. The Bulldogs will be looking to snap a five-game losing skid while the Bears have won five straight to move into third in the Valley standings.Drake coach Kurt Kanaskie says the improved play of sophomore forward Scott Brakebill has been a major factor in the Bear’s winning streak.Kanaskie says the final home game will be emotional for the seniors but the Bulldogs will need more than that to get a win.
