Highway 20 group meets with legislators

The group urging policymakers to make Highway 20 four-lane all across the state visited one-on-one with legislators yesterday. Highway 20 Coalition president Lloyd Magnuson of Fort Dodge says northern Iowa has suffered, economically, because there’s no four-lane.Magnuson says the expansion will soon be done and by 2007, the four-lane will stretch to Sioux City.Magnuson says his coalition now boasts 120 members — from Sioux City to Dubuque.
