A northeast Iowa teenager has accepted a plea agreement in a bomb threat case that forced the evacuation of several schools. 19-year old Rex Miles entered an “Alford Plea” to the charge of making a false report. Under the plea, Miles does not admit guilt, but does concede there is enough evidence for conviction. Police allege Miles made a call from a pay phone last February saying there was a bomb in one of the schools in Fayette County. All of the schools were evacuated and searched as a precaution. Miles will be sentenced May 1st. He could face five years in prison and a 75-hundred dollar fine.
