Projected high gasoline prices through summer might convince some Midwesterners to forget about packing the minivan & heading for Florida. Iowa Division of Tourism administrator Nancy Landess says the trend is toward shorter, more frequent vacation trips.Landess says high fuel prices won’t keep people from getting away from it all, they just might not get as far away.
