A day care center in the northeast Iowa town of Manchester was heavily damaged after being hit by a minivan early this morning. 19-year-old William Thurn smacked the wall of Carousel Child Care. No children were there at the time. Thurn was injured. No charges have been filed. Thurn claims his brakes failed.
