Northern Iowa pitcher waiting for big delivery not connected to baseball

Northern Iowa may have senior pitcher Matt Cobb in the rotation when the Panthers open a four-game series at Wichita State tomorrow night. Cobb is a native of Wichita but Panther coach Rick Heller says he may be tending to other matters as his wife is expecting a baby anytime.Meanwhile, Senior outfielder Scott Schirmer was named the Valley’s player of the week after going 11 of 20 with 12-RBI.
