UNI ready to wrap up spring drills

The Northern Iowa football team will close out spring drills with an intrasquad scrimmage Friday night in the UNI-Dome. The Panthers had their second full contact scrimmage this past weekend and coach Mike Dunbar felt his team showed improvement.Dunbar says the final scrimmage will focus on game situations so they don’t make mistakes in key situations next fall.Dunbar says the Panther offense needs to do a better job protecting the football.Dunbar believes his team has a lot of potential. He says he likes their effort and says they need to keep improving their technique and skills.
