ISU quarterback experienced and ready

April 20, 2000 By admin

A year ago, Sage Rosenfels was battling for the starting quarterback job at Iowa State. This spring, the Maquoketa native is working as the established starter as the Cyclones prepare for their annual spring game on Saturday.Rosenfels says while last year’s 4-7 record was disappointing, the number of close games showed the Cyclones are not that far away. He says they just need a few more players and to make a few more plays to turn the corner.Rosenfels says having a year as the starter under his belt has given him added confidence.
